Kismet Forward was engaged during 2011-2014 to evaluate a major Bioenergy Project in the Grampians and Wimmera Southern Mallee Regions.

Building Community Resilience and Adaptation to Climate Change through Distributed Bioenergy was funded through the Victorian Local Sustainability Accord.
The project was a ‘major regional pilot study’, with actions including
• Establishment of a biomass supply chain model associated with the establishment of a commercial bioenergy demonstration plant at Beaufort Hospital;
• A feasibility study for biofuel pool heating for the Horsham Aquatic Centre;
• A Bioenergy Forum to showcase project outcomes;
• Development of a Business Case Study, promoting bioenergy economic development opportunities.
