Brett Cheatley Consulting, in collaboration with Kismet Forward, Richard O’Byrne Community Environment Planning and Cloudstreet Economics, were engaged during 2016/17 to develop a Camping and Accommodation Strategy for the holiday parks and reserves managed by Bellarine Bayside.
The purpose of the strategy is to provide clear guidance and direction to Bellarine Bayside for the longer term management and development of the public land under their stewardship, and (in so doing) consider the future needs of the campers, local communities and businesses through thorough consultation.
Kismet Forward was the community engagement specialist on the team, and Jen wrote, implemented and reported on a robust engagement plan to ensure that community and camper aspirations were integrated in the strategy’s directions.
