In 2017 Kismet Forward was engaged to prepare 10 case studies for the Great Ocean Road Taskforce. The intent of the project was to identify the root causes that led to issues that delayed or led to the abandonment of developments along the Great Ocean Road. The project involved interviewing project proponents, stakeholders and relevant agencies, and was undertaken by Jen in collaboration with Mandy Elliot, Sally Chandler Ford, Richard O’Byrne and Kylie Cirak.

In 2019 Jen was asked to plan, implement and report on a series of stakeholder and community workshops to gather information, data, views and ideas as input to the development of long term objectives for the Great Ocean Road Region.

Later in 2019 Jen was asked to facilitate a series of drop-in sessions to gather feedback on options for ongoing community involvement and funding models to support the proposed Great Ocean Road Management Authority.
This was followed by an internal government workshop to seek input on options and considerations to be included in the second Great Ocean Road Management Reform bill.
