In addition to the Geelong Football Club’s proud and longstanding history playing AFL football, the club also strives to play a broader role in the Geelong community, as outlined in its Mission Statement ‘To be the greatest team of all: a club that people can be proud of because of how we play the game, live our values, conduct business and engage with the community’ (2016 Geelong Cats Community Strategy Plan).

Ten Flagship Programs make up the Cats in the Community program, all of which ‘are free and have one central purpose – to build a better and healthier community with a special focus on youth’

Jen facilitated a workshop with the Cats Community department to review and refine the Flagship Programs to ensure that they were appropriately targeted, and that the challenges for each were identified and (where possible) resolved.
